Biafra: Why Asari Dokubo Is Now Attacking Me – Nnamdi Kanu

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to a recent allegation leveled against him by the leader of Niger Delta Volunteers Force, Asari Dokubo.

AllNews reports the two warlords, who are leading militant groups, have been exchanging brickbats.

Asari recently accused Nnamdi Kanu of collecting money from South-East governors running into “hundreds of millions” even as Kanu claimed that he gave N20m to Dokubo from funds belonging to IPOB but the former militant leader denied collecting any money.

However, in a Facebook post on Thursday, Kanu disclosed that Asari started calling him names when he (Kanu) stopped giving him money.

The IPOB leader shared a video showing when he was being hailed by Asari to buttress why Asari Dokubo is now attacking him in recent times

In the video, Asari can be heard describing Kanu as “a man to be respected,” a man who “meant well for all of us. He wants freedom for all Biafrans”. The former militant leader was also heard saying that no Igbo man dead or alive has done what Kanu has done for the Biafran cause.

Kanu then posted, “All the above quotes as captured in this video below was when I used to give him money but as soon as I discovered he is a full-time Fulani Caliphate agent and stopped, his petulance and name-calling started.

“You can take a man out of the Zoo but you can’t take the Zoo out of a man.”
