Biafra: Why I Cannot Work With 'Idiot' Nnamdi Kanu - Dokubo (Video)

 

Asari Dokubo, a major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria has said that he "cannot work with" Nnamdi Kanu, the self-exiled leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) because of his divisive tendencies, AllNews reports.

The 'folk hero' as well maintained that he has not been bought over as being bandied around by IPOB faithful.

"All of us are Biafrans," Dokubo said.

"A set now decides that they have the right of life and death over all of us.

"They have proclaimed Biafra a Jewish state.

"They are going to kill all Muslims including myself - a critical stakeholder!

"And they say 'go and work with Nnamdi Kanu'. Who is this idiot you want me to go and work with?" Dokubo asked rhetorically.

"What are his credentials in our struggle? He (Kanu) rants.

"I have not run away."

Dokubo continued:

"They say 'he has been bought over'. Who bought me over? Is it Obasanjo (Olusegun)? Is it Buhari (Muhammadu)?

"They make frivolous accusations."

Speaking further, the 56-year-old said: "Nobody owns Biafra. All of us collectively own Biafra.

"We have equal rights in Biafra.

"The Biafra we are building will be a joy to all mankind.

"People will come from all over the place to come and live because they will be free to practice whatever religion they want to practice."

Buhari is importing Boko Haram - Dokubo

Dokubo also seized the opportunity to tackle President Buhari.

"We (the Biafran state Dokubo, Kanu and co. are fighting for) will not be like Nigeria where Buhari will import Boko Haram to come and murder other people.

"Biafra will be the home of all those who seek shelter.

"Our Biafra will be free. Our Biafra will be the land of all religions."
