Biafra: Why Nigeria Under Buhari Can Never Defeat Terrorism - IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu, a Nigerian Biafra political activist and leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Friday asserted that the nation under Muhammadu Buhari 'can never defeat terrorism because the president so loves terrorists', AllNews reports.

Self-exiled Kanu said this on his known Twitter handle in continuation of his fervent criticism against Nigeria and her president.

Terrorists are NEVER defeated by those that LOVE them but by those that HATE them. America defeated ISIS & Al Qaeda because of its justified hatred for terrorism. @NGRPresident so LOVED terrorists that he once said that an attack on them is an attack on the North. #ZOO pic.twitter.com/yKVxzKvGFM

Activists like Kanu are calling for independence in eastern Nigeria once more as the government tries to stamp out separatism.

Banned IPOB was proscribed and declared as a terrorist organization by an Abuja high court in September 2017.

Kanu's IPOB who many accuse of churning out propagandous contents says the proscription and clampdown by security forces have emboldened and hardened its resolve and that it will keep agitating until an independent state is achieved.
