Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has urged the Yoruba ethnic group of Nigeria to 'think deeply', AllNews reports.
Self-exiled Kanu gave this advice on his known Twitter handle on Sunday - seemingly encouraging the Yorubas to imitate IPOB and try to break away from Nigeria.
“Yoruba has a history of humiliation in Nigeria and this MUST be addressed. #Awolowo was JAILED & an army of occupation infiltrated the SW. Col. Fajuyi was KILLED. #Abiola won an election but DIED in detention. Abacha jailed OBJ & KILLED Kudirat”- Prof Toba Alabi

In January this year, Kanu backed the South West security outfit called Operation Amotekun, saying that his outlawed group would do anything to ensure that Amotekun stays in Yoruba land.
Exhibiting his seriousness, the outspoken Kanu, promised to give about one million IPOB members to support the Yorubas.
