#Binancestopscamming: How Twitter Users Urged Africans To Ig

There has been an online campaign by some Nigerians who feel dissatisfied with the services of Binance to dissuade other users, especially Africans, from using the crypto exchange platform.

The unhappy users complained bitterly about Binance blocking their accounts, thereby freezing them out of their money without providing any genuine reasons.

Binance is one of the most popular crypto exchange platforms.

Campaigners who use Twitter as their preferred platform to register their complaints used the hashtag # Binancestopscamming to not only register their complaints but also to rally a large number of people to join the boycott of Binance.

According to Premium Times, the users’ anger towards Binance comes from the changes made to the platform’s terms of use, which led to some users' losing access to their funds.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users who lashed out used the campaign as a good opportunity to share their experiences.

Binance Africa, on the other hand, admitted on January 26 that it has been restricting access to some accounts.

However, the exchange insisted that it only blocks accounts when there is a good reason.

The company CEO apologized for the convenience and advised those aggrieved to please fill out a Complaint Form on their website. He promised that the company was doing all it can make users especially Nigerians continue to enjoy the experience of using the platform.
