Biodun Stephen's new film 'Sista' which was slated to hit cinemas on August 5 has now made a major u-turn and is now heading directly to streaming platforms.
The movie headlined by Kehinde Bankole reversed its distribution pilot from theatrical to straight to streaming.
This means the title won’t debut in cinemas as it has been swooped by a streaming platform.
The movie features a star-studded cast with Deyemi Okanlawon, Kehinde Bankole, Bisola Aiyeiola, in lead roles.
Other actors featured are Tope Olowoniyan, Chinezie Imo, Blessing Jessica Obasi, and Adedamola Adewale.
According to Stephen, ‘Sistá’ promises a riveting story of love, betrayal and sacrifice. It also follows the filmmaker’s ‘Breaded Life’ which launched on Netflix in June.
