The First African Church Bishop of Opobo Diocese, Rt. Revd Mbagwu Markfavour Eberechi has showered praises on the Diaspora Group, Ntigha In North America, (NINA) for its numerous projects in the entire Ntigha community in Isiala Ngwa North area in Abia State.
The clergy spoke recently when the group conducted free health screenings for indigenes at the three-day health outreach held at the health centre in Avor Ntigha.
The health screening included blood sugar, blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), eye tests, and cholesterol checks.
The group also offered free eye examinations and eye care medications to the indigenes even as it also dispensed prescribed drugs to them.
Bishop Mbagwu, who signed a press release sent to this news media, also appreciated the group for their assistance to him during his consecration as a bishop last year and prayed for God’s blessings on them.
“To my good people of Ntigha in North America, NINA, cheers for a great work and show of love to your fatherland through your numerous contributions to our clan.
“I heartily thank you for re-equipping, renovating, and sinking the borehole at the Avor Ntigha health center, and for wonderful assistance during my consecration as a bishop last year.
“Again, I immensely thank you for the just-concluded three-day health outreach held at the Health Centre in Avor Ntigha where over 1,500 persons were given free health check-ups and treatment, reading glasses, and prescription drugs by both doctors abroad and volunteers in the state.
“It's indeed another accolade to your antecedents. The good God will continue to bless you and promote you on every side as I keep praying for you.”
