    It has been announced that Bisi Egbeyemi, the immediate past former Deputy Governor of Ekiti is dead.

    Egbeyemi was the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State between 2018 and 2022 and served under Kayode Fayemi died around 8 pm on Friday after a brief illness.

    His last public appearance was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly election.

    An ally of Egbeyemi revealed that the former Deputy Governor died at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

    At the time of his death, he was 78 years of age.
