Blaqbonez Advises Rema To Go Back To School

As one of the ways to promote his latest single ‘Back In Uni’, Chocolate City rapper Blaqbonez has advised his colleague Rema to return to school.

In a tweet on Monday afternoon, Blaqbonez reminded Rema that education is key and no knowledge is wasted.

He added that he loves Rema's tour energy but it is time to get ‘Back In Uni’.

“Hey @heisrema, love your tour energy and things but education is Key as no knowledge is lost. It's time to get Back in Uni!!”

This comes after the Academic Staff Universities Union, ASUU, suspended their eight-month-long strike.

In April, Rema took to social media to lament about the ASUU strike which prevented him from attending class since he got admitted to study at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Bowen University was quick to respond to his tweet, informing the singer that ASUU won't delay him if he enrolled in the private institution.

Responding to Bowen's open invitation, Rema said he is fascinated.

However, UNILAG was quick to remind Rema that he was chosen by the university and should not let any other institution change his mind.

To settle the matter, Rema asked that his fans help him choose one of the two universities by voting.

It is also in line with Rema’s announcement some months before the strike when he’d announced his decision to get a university degree and had decided on UNILAG, one of the schools which had been affected by the strike.
