Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has apologized to his fans at the University of Ibadan after his previous tweet caused some uproar.
The musician had tweeted that he would not be showing up at an event in the university, but some people still believed he was going to be present.
In a subsequent tweet, Blaqbonez said he was sorry for any insensitivity on his part and promised to work on something for the fans at the university.
“My people in University of Ibadan, I’m sorry that my tweet seemed insensitive, I already told everyone involved I wasn’t going to be coming, then I came online to people still thinking i was coming, and i just thought to tell you guys i wasn’t going to be showing up
“I should have said it better but when have i ever done something like a normal person?
“My apologies guys, working on something for you guys if you’d still have me,” he tweeted.
