Blaqbonez Bares His Heart After Wizkid’s Rap Comment

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has bared his heart and soul after Wizkid’s controversial comment about Rap music.

In a recent interview with a British magazine, Wizkid revealed that he does not listen to rap anymore because he believes the genre is boring and dead.

His statement elicited reactions from Nigerian rappers like M.I., Blaqbonez, Ladipoe, Oladips, and others.

Following the reactions, Wizkid went on to broke-shame Nigerian rappers, calling them ‘dumb f**ks’ as well.

In a lengthy post on Monday via Twitter, Blaqbonez claimed that while Wizkid's initial interview statement didn’t bother him, his subsequent insults at Nigerian rappers, calling them broke and stupid, infuriated him.

He, however, mentioned that he will continue doing rap music and show the world what a Nigerian rapper looks like.

Blaqbonez added that he is good with however far the music genre takes him in as long as he can feed his family.
