Popular cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky was on Thursday arrested by operatives of the Inspector General Police (IG) Monitoring Unit.
AllNews understands that Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of the day, in Lekki area of the state.
He was said to be arrested by a team of policemen from Abuja over issues with a female.
The policen were said to have briefed Lagos state command before proceeding with his arrest.
Reports say the effeminate was first taken to a police station on the Island and was allegedly detained, but later granted bail.
Confirming his arrest, police spokesman DCP Frank Mba said: “Yes, Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of today following a petition by a Nigerian woman that the cross dresser collected N30m from her for sales but did not keep to the end of the deal.

“Bobrisky was granted bail but the case is still an active one. It is a case under investigation,” he confirmed.
