Following an attack on the Gaidam local government area of Yobe state on Wednesday night, Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists have killed 12 people in a hotel among others.
The terrorists also burnt down government buildings during the attack.
The buildings burnt include the staff quarters of the Government Science and Technical College Geidam.
According to reports, the terrorists came on foot after parking their motorcycles at the outskirts of the town.
One resident of the town simply identified as Mallam Idi told Leadership that the terrorists took everyone by surprise as they sneaked into the town.
The terrorists also attacked a popular bar in the town around 10 pm and slaughtered some while shooting others in the head.
Another security source revealed that the terrorists killed all the people they found in the bar.
However, another source revealed that the terrorists attacked a base for prostitutes and killed 11 people there.
