Borno: Engr. Wakilbe Inspects GSS Damasak, Appreciates Teachers With Cash

The Borno State Commissioner for Education, Engr Lawan Abba Wakilbe has visited Damasak in Mobbar local government area of the state.

The commissioner who was on an inspection visit to the Government Secondary School Damasak commended teachers for keeping up with their duties.

As a token of appreciation, the commissioner further gifted the teachers with an undisclosed amount of money for their commitments. 

He further appreciated nursing mothers active in their duty posts. 

The commissioner proceeded to Damasak Central Primary and Junior Day Secondary School and Lawanti Primary School Damasak where he listened to their plights.

He further assured that the state government would look into their requests.

Engr. Wakilbe further went to the newly reopened Government Secondary School Gubio where he was impressed with the running of the school and thanked teachers as well also rewarded them with a token for enduring rural postings. 

Meanwhile, the commissioner who visited Government Day Secondary School at Magumeri expressed displeasure over teachers' turnout.

Wakilbe was accompanied by the vice Chairman of Gubio LGA, Hon. Mali Bulama Gubio alongside other staff of the state's education ministry.
