Borno NUJ Condoles Zulum, Family Of Late Former SSG Shuwa

The Borno State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has condoled the family of the late former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa.

The union also condoled the State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum and the Vice President, Kashim Shettima over the loss.

Late Shuwa who was the immediate past SSG to Zulum died on Saturday in Maiduguri, the state's capital.

The Chairman of the union, Dauda Iliya, extended his condolences to the entire people of Borno State over the loss.

This was contained in a statement by Chiroma Ali Ibrahim, the council's secretary, on Tuesday. 

"The Union receives the sad news of passing away of the quintessential public servant, and scholar per excellence with shock and further extends its condolences to the bereaved family, His Excellency the Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Shehu of Bama and the entire people of the Borno,where the deceased spend greater part of his life in serving the government and the people of the state 

"The union will no doubt miss the wise counsel and support of late SSG to the present leadership of council.

"We prayed Allah to give the bereaved family, and the entire people of the state the fortitude and courage to bear the irreplaceable lost and admit the deceased into Aljannatul Firdaus," Ibrahim stated.
