Borno: Tijjani Commissions Vehicles for Traffic Agency

The Borno state commissioner for transportation, Dr. Abubakar Tijjani has commissioned four vehicles for the Borno State Traffic Management Agency (BOTMA).

The commissioning was conducted today in Maiduguri.

Tijjani who was represented by the Director of the Transport Ministry, Alhaji Shettima Bukar inspected the vehicles before the commissioning. 

The vehicles which were purchased by the General Manager of BOTMA, Engr. Baba Shehu Tijjani included Three saloon Mercedes Benz and a saloon Volkswagen. 

In a statement by the agency today, the commissioner commended the manager while noting his unique leadership qualities.

According to the statement, Chairman Amalgamation of Tricycle Owners Association, Hon. Maikano Mohammed in his remark commended governor Babagana Zulum for establishing the transport agency.

The vehicles were purchased to ease movement of officials of the agency.

"The general manager, BOTMA, Engr. Baba Shehu Tijjani appreciates all for gracing the occasion and call on the BOTMA Marshals to continue with the good work ethics and the general public to abide by the traffic laws governing the state," the statement added.
