BREAKING: FG Begins Deployment Of N-Power Batch C Beneficiar

The Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced the deployment of successful N-Power Batch C beneficiaries, AllNews can authoritatively report.

The deployment, AllNews understands, started on Friday morning.

Multiple N-Power Batch C beneficiaries confirmed the development to this newspaper on Friday, and shared screenshots from their National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) dashboard with us.

Recall that the FG had on Monday, August 23 announced the inauguration of 510,000 Batch C1 graduate and non-graduate volunteers.

Government officials said a total of 450,000 had been selected to benefit under the graduate component, while 60,000 beneficiaries will be under the non-graduate component.

“Today, we are here to inaugurate the N-Power Batch C1. The N-Power graduate volunteers are entitled to a monthly stipend of thirty thousand naira each (N30,000.00) for a period of one year.

” The non-graduate beneficiaries are entitled to ten thousand naira (N10,000.000) monthly stipends for a period of nine months.

“All beneficiaries are granted an appropriate starter pack for their trade, to enable them start their businesses in their chosen trades. By the special grace of God, I hereby flag-off the N-Power Batch C1 for the 36 States and FCT,” Sadiya Umar Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development said.

N-Power Batch C

N-Power is a scheme set up by President Muhammadu Buhari in June 2016, "to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development". The scheme was created as a component of National Social Investment Program (NSIP), "to provide a structure for large-scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development and to ensure that each participant will learn and practice most of what is necessary to find or create work".

Applicants are selected and placed in several places known as Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). These PPAs can be found by checking your N-Power Deployment Status. Applicants will then be paid specific stipends on monthly basis by the scheme.
