Breaking: Meet The First Person To Take COVID-19 Vaccine in

A medical doctor, Ngong Cyprian, has become the first person that received the COVID-19 vaccine in Nigeria.

Dr Cyprian has been a frontline health worker since March 2020, some days after the first case of the pandemic was reported in Nigeria.

The doctor has over eight years in both clinical and hospital practices.

On Friday, Nigeria commenced its COVID-19 vaccination as the Cyprian become the first Nigerian to receive the jab of the AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 vaccine. he is a frontline worker at the National Hospital.

The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari flagged off the exercise.
