On Saturday, Nigerian police opened fire on protesters and journalists at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja during an "End Hunger" protest.
Recall that Allnews.ng reported how the protest which began August 1 was marred with violence which led to the humongous destruction of properties.
According to DAILY POST, the protest, primarily involving youths, marked the third day of a ten-day campaign against bad governance in Nigeria.
Heavily armed police officers arrived at the venue around 11:45 am and ordered the protesters to disperse.
When the protesters refused to comply, the police opened fire, targeting both protesters and journalists present at the scene.
