BreakTudo Awards 2021: Burna Boy, Wizkid's Song 'Ginger' Makes Nomination List

Burna Boy and Wizkid have grabbed a nomination in the just-released list of nominees at the BreakTudo Awards 2021.

Burna Boy's collaboration with Wizkid 'Ginger' is competing for the Best International Collaboration.

The song is pitted against 'Chain My Heart' by Topic x Bebe Rexha, 'Kiss Me More' by Doja Cat and SZA, 'La Noche de Anoche' by Bad Bunny and Rosalía, 'Papa' by SICKOTOY, Elvana Gjata and INNA, 'Stay' by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, 'UN DIA' by J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and Tainy and 'Wild Side' by Normani and Cardi B.

Ghanian singer, Shatta Wale, will be competing in the Global Artist category alongside other stars like Calum Scott, IU, Machine Gun Kelly, Thalia (from Rosalinda fame), and Troye Sivan.

BreakTudo Awards (commonly known as BT Awards or BTD Awards is a Brazilian award created in 2016 that takes place annually, honoring the year’s biggest achievements in music, film, television, and Brazilian internet content. Voting takes place through the official website and Twitter.

This year the artist chosen to be honoured with the Brazilian Pop Icon award, is the singer Ivete Sangalo, by the recognition of all her years of career and great contributions to the national pop culture.

The BreakTudo Awards 2021 will be broadcast by Telemilenio 's YouTube channel, TV Cidade, and also Yeeaah channel on October 21, with musical performances and special participation.
