Brentford City held Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup contest on Friday night.

Following the early exchanges. Joao Gomes was sent off with a red card in the ninth minute to reduce Wolves to 10 men; it had an immediate impact on the game as they conceded in the contest.

Brentford City took the lead though up until the 41st minute as Neal Maupay scored in the 41st minute to make it 1-0 for Thomas Frank's Brentford City side.

Despite attempts for Wolves to respond in the match, it wasn't to be as it finished 1-0 to Brentford City at the break.

After the restart, the visitors would get a goal for themselves not minding the fact they're down to 10 men. Tommy Doyle scored in the 64th minute to draw level for Wolves.

He was assisted by teammate Pedro Neto as it finished 1-1 apiece between Premier League sides Brentford City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
