Brighton Hold Liverpool To Dramatic Draw

Brighton held Liverpool to a dramatic 2-2 draw in Sunday's Premier League match at the Amex Stadium.

Simon Adingra gave Brighton the lead on 20 minutes after he stole the ball from former Seagull Alexis Mac Allister.

Liverpool levelled on 40 minutes when Darwin Nunez set up Mohamed Salah to sweep home.

The Reds then took the lead in first half stoppage time when Salah struck from the penalty spot after Pascal Gross dragged Dominik Szoboszlai down by his collar.

Substitute Ryan Gravenberch almost increased Liverpool's lead in the second half but his effort hit the bar from close range.

The miss proved costly as captain Lewis Dunk turned home Solly March's free-kick in the 78th minute to set up a dramatic final 10 minutes.

In the end, both teams settled for a point, though Joao Pedro skied a golden opportunity to claim all three points for the Seagulls.
