Britney Spears' wedding to Sam Asghari was slightly marred by her ex-hubby Jason Alexander getting arrested while crashing the event venue in Southern California.
Spears and Asghari tied the nuptial knot on Thursday, June 9, in a ceremony that came months after the pop star won her freedom from a court conservatorship.
Not wanting to be left out of the festivities, the singer's former partner Jason Alexander went to the venue of the event and was apprehended by California authorities while live-streaming it.
According to Captain Cameron Henderson of the Ventura county sheriff’s office, officers responded to a trespassing call after 2 pm on Thursday.
He disclosed that Alexander was detained at the site of the ceremony after the cops noticed that he had a warrant for his arrest in another county.
Earlier on Thursday, Spears' ex-husband had broadcast a live video on his Instagram account as he approached the security at the event.
"She’s my first wife, my only wife... I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding", he had stated in the video.
