Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has been named Manchester United Player of the year after only joining the English side in January 2020 and playing in 22 games.

He moved from his native Portugal in January and teamed up with the Manchester club after turning down offers from Barcelona, and other top European giants.

The 26-year-old scored eight goals in all competitions for United.
He became the first United player to win the English Premier League (EPL) Player of the month back-to-back after Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2006-07 season.
Fernandes joins a host of world-class players who had won the award before him.
