Late Abdullahi Abacha
President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolences to the former First Lady, Maryam Abacha and her family on the death of their son, Abdullahi Abacha.
This is contained in a statement by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
According to the statement, the President’s "prayers and thoughts are with the family of Abacha as they grieve the passing of the young Abdullahi."
The President also "prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for those who mourn”.
The death of the young Abacha was announced by his sister, Gumsu.
She said he died in the early hours of Saturday.
