The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, died on Friday, April 17 after testing positive for coronavirus.
The death of Kyari was announced on Twitter, by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
Adesina however, said Kyari's burial arrangements will be announced soon.
Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon.

Recall that the late Chief of Staff tested positive for the virus in March.
He had travelled to Germany on Saturday, March 7th to meet with officials of Siemens in Munich on the Nigerian electricity expansion programme.
