Buhari’s Visit: Imoites Will Comply With IPOB’s Sit-at-H

Ex-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Director of New Media, Deji Adeyanju has forecasted that many citizens of Imo state will comply with the sit-at-home order by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to Adeyanju, “there’s a general consensus in the South East to comply”.

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Imo today (Thursday) to commission some projects. But IPOB, through Chika Edoziem, on Monday kicked against the visit, saying Buhari is not welcomed. Edoziem subsequently declared Thursday as a sit-at-home protest over the president’s visit. Now, Adeyanju is projecting the proscribed group’s desire will shine.

“Just watch, IPOB Sit-At-Home order will be almost 98% successful. Banks, offices, commercial activities, etc will be grounded. There’s a general consensus in the SE to comply. The visiting APC governors who are bringing crowd into the state will get the message today,” he wrote on his known Twitter handle on Thursday morning.
