Buhari Sympathises With Orji Kalu Over Wife's Death

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolences to Senator Orji Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate, following the passing of his 61-year-old wife, Ifeoma.

According to the Punch, the Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, conveyed the President's condolences on Monday.

Buhari urged the family, friends, and associates of the deceased to rely on God for comfort during this painful and reflective time.

He noted that the late Ifeoma Orji's reputation for godliness and philanthropy should provide solace for the family, given that she lived a life of service to God's will.

The President offered prayers for the peaceful repose of Ifeoma's soul and for the family to find the strength to cope with their loss.

Senator Kalu shared the news of his wife's passing on Monday in a statement on his verified Facebook page.
