Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has dismissed claims that the president will address Nigerians on Monday.
Some news platforms had on Sunday published that the Buhari is scheduled to address the nation on COVID-19.
However, Femi Adesina, took to his verified Twitter handle to refute the claim.
He said, "No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps."
