Buni Visits Dutse Emirate, Condoles Jigawa Residents, Govern

The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has visited Dutse Emirate in Jigawa State to condole the emirate over the demise of its Emir, Alhaji (Dr) Nuhu Mohammed Sunusi.

The governor also expressed his condolences to the Jigawa state government and its people.

Buni who was represented by his Deputy, Idi Barde Gubana, visited on Friday.

The governor, on behalf of the Government and people of Yobe State, conveyed his sincere condolence over the great loss. 

He described the death of the Emir as a huge loss not only to Dutse Emirate but to the entire Nation.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the spokesperson to the deputy governor, Hussaini Mai Suleh. 

Also during the visit to the emirate, the Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Science and Technical Schools Board, Dr Mohammad Dauda Atiyaye offered prayers for Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus.

Similarly in Dutse, the Deputy Governor attended the wedding Fatiha of Aisha Haruna Kolere which took place at Dutse Central Mosque.

The Deputy stood up as waliyi and gave out the hand of Aisha to Mikdad Lawan Magaji Kazaure who presented the sum of N200,000 as dowry through his representative (Wakili) Malam Mohammad.

Presiding over the wedding Fatiha the chief Imam of Dutse central mosque, Dr. Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu reminded the couple to emulate the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, while in their matrimonial Home. 

He prayed for Allah to grant them peace and understanding.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the speaker, Yobe state House of Assembly, Hon Ahmad Lawan, Commissioner Ministry of Humanitarian affairs and disaster Management, Dr Abubakar Garba iliya and Special Adviser on Youth Sports and Social Development, Hon Musa Gamcho Tela.
