Buni Visits Nasarawa To Condole Governor Sule Over Son's Dem

The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has paid a condolence visit to the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule over his son's demise. 

The governor visited alongside the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello on Saturday.

According to the spokesperson to governor Buni, Mamman Mohammed in a statement, the governor's visit was to sympathise with Governor Sule, the government and people of Nassarawa state over the death of the 36-year-old Hassan.

According to the statement, Buni and Bello, prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Hassan his shortcomings and to grant him eternal rest in Aljannatur Firdaus.

They also prayed Allah to grant Governor Sule, his family and the people of Nassarawa state the fortitude to bear the huge loss.

The Emir of Lafia, Alh. Sidi Bage Muhammad, who spoke on behalf of the family and people of Nassarawa state, thanked the two governors for identifying with their brother and colleague at this trying moment.

"We are honoured by your presence to sympathise with us at this moment when we lost Hassan, a very loyal, composed and respectful gentleman.

"We take solace as Muslims that from Allah we came and to him we shall return."

Late Hassan died in the late hours of Thursday and has been buried according to Islamic rites in Gudi, Nassarawa State.
