Burna Boy and Shatta Wale
Burna Boy has reacted to Shatta Wale's outbursts claiming that Nigerian artistes do not promote their Ghanaian counterparts and were not appreciative of the support shown them by Ghanaians.
Following his statement, Nigerians took to social media to drag him, including Yung6ix who said that Shatta Wale's attempt at pitching Ghanaians against Nigerians is a lost cause.
Reacting to the issue, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to speak against the agenda of separation between Nigeria and Ghana, as he challenged Shatta Wale to a duel.
According to the 'Odogwu' singer, there is something fishy about the attack on Nigerian music as South African, American and UK music are being played in Ghana also.
Burna Boy further added that pushing a separation agenda between Ghana and Nigeria is a 'grave disservice to the generations coming after us'
However, he challenged anyone who has a personal problem with him to a duel.
“Dem dey play South African, American and UK music also for Ghana but na Nigeria own be issue. Something fishy is smelling.
“Pushing this agenda of separation between our beautiful African nations is a grave disservice to the generations coming after us.
"And it goes against everything I stand for as a man and as an unapologetic Pan Africanist.
“Therefore, if Shatta or anyone has a personal problem with me, I'm still open to fight 1 on 1 and squash it after. The same way I've always been.
“Nobody will ruin the unity we continuously try to build for a stronger and better Africa.”
