Benson Idonije, the grandfather of Afrobeat singer and Grammy-award winner, Burna Boy, recently turned 85, and to celebrate him, the singer rendered an electric performance.
In a video making the rounds, the 'Dangote' crooner performed legendary Afrobeat pioneer icon, Fela Anikulapo Kuti's classic song 'Lady'.
Idonije is also a veteran icon in the music industry and is popularly known for being the first band manager of Fela Kuti.
In 2012, The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism awarded him the Life Time Award for Journalism Excellence.
