Burna Boy and Wizkid are set to headline the world’s biggest music festival focused on Afrobeats music, Afro Nation.
The upcoming festival is a two-day event that will take place at LoanDepot Park, Miami on May 27 and 28, 2023.
The first slate of performers also includes Nigerian artists Rema and Asake, along with celebrated dancehall musician Beenie Man, and up-and-comers CKay, BNXN, Dadju and Black Sherif.
Franglish, Nelson Freitas, Gyakie and Nissi, also appear on the lineup among others.
According to the news release, more performers will be added in the coming months.
Major League DJz and Uncle Waffles will headline the Piano People stage.
In 2022, Afro Nation festivals began sprouting globally with successful events in Puerto Rico, Ghana and Portugal.
Wizkid, Burna Boy and Megan Thee Stallion headlined Afro Nation Puerto Rico 2022, which had 40,000 people in attendance.
Afro Nation Portugal 2023 is also set to take place in Portimão from June 28-30, and its lineup is yet to be announced.
