Burna Boy’s summer hit ‘Last Last’ has now been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.

According to the RIAA, ‘Last Last’ was certified Platinum on Tuesday after it reached the sales and the streaming equivalent of 1 million units sold in the US.

Barely two months after its release in March, ‘Last Last’ got silver certification in the United Kingdom for selling over 200,000 units.

It was also certified Gold in the UK as it sold 400,000 units as well.

In an interview on Shopping for Sneakers, Burna Boy said he has made more money off ‘Last Last’ than he has ever made in his career.

Clarifying his earlier comment of Toni Braxton getting 60% of the song's earnings, Burna Boy said she’s only getting a small fraction of the song’s earnings as opposed to the total revenue the single generated.
