Burna Boy's mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, is undeniably proud as her son becomes the first African artist to perform at the Billboard Music Awards.
Burna Boy and his mother attended the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 15. The singer took the stage to perform several of his hit songs, becoming the first African artist to do so.
Bose Ogulu took to Instagram to congratulate her son on his record-breaking achievement. She also listed the numerous records her son had broken in the previous week.
“A lot of firsts this week @burnaboygram became the first African artist to perform at the BBMA’s, Grammy’s, BET Hip-hop Awards and Brits…. Also, our first trip to Vegas!”.
