Bose Ogulu, the mother of Afro-fusion superstar, Burna Boy, has said that the singer's latest buzzing single titled ‘It's Plenty’, popularly known as ‘Trabaye’ is an anthem.
She said that although Burna Boy's Toni Braxton-sampled single ‘Last Last’ is a hit, the new single ‘Trabaye’ is an anthem.
“Last Last is a hit but ‘Trabaye’ is an anthem. I talk am finish,” she said.
‘It's Plenty’ music video was recently released and it features a cameo appearance from Canadian superstar Drake.
The record is off Burna Boy's sixth studio album ‘Love, Damini’ which was released back in July.
In an interview on Shopping For Sneakers, Burna Boy said he has made more money off ‘Last Last’ than he has ever made in his career.
Clarifying his earlier comment of Toni Braxton getting 60% of the song's earnings, Burna Boy said she’s only getting a small fraction of the song’s earnings as opposed to the total revenue the single generated.
