Emmanuel Bwacha and Aishatu Binani have been reinstated by a Court of Appeal in Yola as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidates for Taraba and Adamawa states respectively.
The ruling which took place on Thursday saw the court order that the names of the candidates be forwarded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as APC governorship candidates for both states.
Justice Simon Amobeda of a Federal High Court in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, had sacked Bwacha in September after a petition by an ex-aspirant, David Kente.
Amobeda had stated that it was impossible for all the primary results to have the same handwriting.
The returning officer also declared that no primary was held in the state at the police headquarters due to security threats.
