For its excellence in corporate governance and regulation, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has emerged winner of the 2022 Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASMEs) Award.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Rasheed Mahe, CAC’s Head of the Media Unit on Monday in Abuja.
Mahe said that the CAC added another feather to its cap during the NASMEs 25th Anniversary Lecture and Award Night recently held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
According to the statement, Dr Abdulrashid Yerima, NASMEs president commended the commission for its support toward promoting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
The Registrar-General of CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar, who received the award thanked NASMEs for recognising the commission’s contributions toward promoting MSMEs’ development in the country.
Duke Ukaga, the Director, Public Affairs of the commission, who represented Abubakar pledged continued support and collaboration with the association to further grow the MSMEs sector.
