Nkechi Blessing
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has slammed her colleagues who are fond of calling out people indirectly without giving names.
In a statement in a video on her Snapchat, she urged her colleagues to speak up with their full chest if they have an issue with anyone in the industry.
According to Nkechi Blessing, if someone wants to call out another person, they should do it openly and with confidence.
She stated that it is the year 2023 and people should not be afraid to own up to their opinions and confrontations.
The actress also advised that calling someone out should not be done secretly, as it can lead to misinterpretations and confusion.
Nkechi Blessing emphasized that if someone is going to call someone else out, they should mention the person’s name with their full chest.
She further warned against instigating issues that do not exist by not mentioning the name of the person being referred to.
“If you want to call someone out, call them out and mention their name with your full chest.
"This is 2023, are you scared? Own it.
“Don’t go through the corners. If you are trying to call someone out, kindly do so with your full chest.
“We don’t know who you are referring to if you don’t tell us who the person is. Don’t instigate what is not.
“People will start tagging it to other people.
"If I want to call you out, I will mention your name.”
Nkechi Blessing’s statement is coming after Dayo Amusa dropped a cryptic message on her Instagram page, calling out a certain celebrity for ingratitude towards a certain political candidate.
She didn’t directly name anyone but fans have speculated that her Amusa’s post is directed to her fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, who was called out by another actor, Lege Miami, for posting fake election results and also being an ingrate to MC Oluomo despite his generosity to her.
In an Instagram Live, Ojo said that Amusa’s post could not be about her because MC Oluomo has not done any of what Amusa mentioned in the post.
She went on to say that she would call Amusa to ask her who she was referring to in the post because they are friends.
