With just 5 minutes before the half time, Lucas Digne headed a ball which met Joel Ward's hand, the play continued for a while before VAR called back on the foul and a penalty was given.

The Brazilian, Richarlison stepped up to take it, burying it in the left top corner, Guaita guessed right but he could not get a touch on it.

The second half brought no goal at all with both teams cancelling each other rout.

The next stop for the Eagles is Stamford Bridge in London against Chelsea while the Toffees will be waiting for Brighton at the Goodison Park.
