'Captain America' Star Chris Evans Opens Up On Dating Experience

He may no longer portray the Star-Spangled Man but Hollywood actor Chris Evans will forever be remembered as the iconic Marvel superhero who literally altered the past to spend time with his heartthrob.

While his Captain America character did not get to socialise a lot, Evans who has had his fair share of relationships says there is something worse than being ghosted.

For the uninitiated, the term "ghosted" refers to a situation whereby an acquaintance or someone closer suddenly ends every form of communication with you and diappears.

According to Evans, realising that a person is "pushing you aside casually" is more devastating than being ghosted.

In a recent chat with People Magazine, the star while promoting his upcoming movie Ghosted shared: "I feel I’ve experienced something much worse [than ghosting].

"I think I’d prefer to be ghosted because you can make up any story you want.

"I’ve had the slow decline in text responses and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually.”

On how he dealt with the situation, the 41-year-old dished: "You tell yourself a story, whatever you have to do to get by."

Per reports, the actor who was named the Sexiest Man Alive in 2022 has been in a relationship with Alba Baptista for about a year.

A source who spoke with the aforementioned publication disclosed that they are both serious about the romance.

"They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her", the insider revealed.
