Coach of Manchester United Erik Ten Hag has expressed that he is waiting anxiously for the fitness report of Marcus Rashford before Sunday's Carabao Cup final with Newcastle at Wembley.
The England international limped off at Old Trafford in Thursday's Europa League play-off win over Barcelona.
"I don't know [if Rashford will be available]," said Ten Hag.
"Players are coming in now and we have to do medical investigations.
"We did some yesterday but it was so soon after the game, so most of the time you can't say.
"You have to wait for the 100 per cent medical diagnosis."
Rashford limps off at Old Trafford
Rashford has been United's star performer and top scorer since the World Cup in Qatar.
He has scored 13 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions.
This makes him a key player in Ten Hag's team as the Red Devils look to end their six-year wait for a trophy.
