Manchester United eased into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The defending champions began brightly and were rewarded with a goal on 21 minutes when Alejandro Garnacho's first-time effort sailed low into the middle of goal.
Casemiro then made it 2-0 six minutes later with a bullet header from around the penalty spot.
The Brazilian would turn provider 10 minutes into the second half, providing a precise lofted cross into the box for Anthony Martial, who latched on to it and finished with a quick shot inside the right post.
Palace, however, only began to threaten following the introduction of Eberechi Eze on 60 minutes, but by then it was too late as United raced away with the win.
The result ensured back-to-back wins for Red Devils as they aim to get their season back on track.
United will know their next opponent when the draw for the fourth round takes place on Wednesday following Manchester City's trip to face Newcastle United.
