CEO's Corner: Success Story Of Chinonso Ogbogu CEO Of Sabi Writers

Chinonso Ogbogu is an award-winning entrepreneur, startup investor, sound communicator, gifted writer, and an employer of labor whose story is that of hard work, diligence, consistency, and relentlessness. Despite being faced with the harsh reality of life and using zero external funding, he built one of Africa’s fastest-growing companies, Sabi Writers.

He is currently the CEO of Sabi Writers and with a team of about 40 full-time employees. In 2020 he launched Sabi Lab, the first writing lab in Africa. He has been able to generate several million in revenue and serve well over 500 corporate clients across Africa including blue-chip corporations, CEOs of multinationals, Bank MDs, celebrities, successful entrepreneurs, Vice-Chancellors, and high-profile government officials.

Chinonso doesn't just have an energetic, sound, fun, and insightful approach to teaching, he is also a business strategist explaining his current seat on the Advisory Board of two growing startups in Africa and serves as a Faculty Member of a pan-African business learning community of Africans in the diaspora.

This year, with his team, he is set to launch Africa’s Premier Writing School called Sabi Writers School with a mission to raise young professional writers in Africa, create jobs, and tell the African stories.
