Champions League: Aubameyang Ready For Chelsea Debut Against Dynamo — Tuchel

Champions League: Aubameyang Ready For Chelsea Debut Agains

Aubameyang To Chelsea

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that new signing Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is available for selection ahead of Chelsea's Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.

Aubameyang joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day in a £10.3m deal from Barcelona.

“If there is an issue today, we will not put him, but there was no issue for him yesterday,”. Tuchel said

“Is he ready to start? I think he cannot play 90 minutes so we have to manage the decision.”

"He is hungry to play for us, that is what we felt from the first moment, and he is invited to prove a point.”

Tuchel also confirmed that another new signing Denis Zakaria is likely to make his Chelsea debut against Dinamo Zagreb.

Thiago Silva has been left out of Chelsea’s travelling party for the game in other to rest, having played every minute of the club's first six Premier League matches.

"We decided with Thiago he will have a break from the travelling and the stress after playing every minute in very intense matches so far," he said.

"It was the moment to give him a break instead of putting him on the bench and having the travel issues so he can take care of his recovery.

"Then we had the opportunity to take everybody who is in training and is available, and that includes Denis."

Chelsea will be hoping to start their Champions League campaign with a win after their topsy-turvy Premier League start.
