Chelsea boss Graham Potter has confirmed that Ngolo Kante is back in training ahead of the crunch Champions League clash against AC Milan on Wednesday.
Kante has been out of action since hobbing off in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham in August.
"Kante is training more and more, not fully but getting closer...
"It's a case of building him up. It won't be that he can play 90 minutes and play every three days.
"It's hard to replace someone like him.
"Any team that loses him will suffer a little bit."
Potter also confirmed the return of Edouard Mendy, who has been out injured since the 2-1 win over West Ham.
"Edou has been training with the team the last few days, so he will be in the squad, which is good news for us because we need as much competition for places,"
Kepa Arrizabalaga has deputized for Mendy in the last month, it is left to be seen if Potter will hand the starting spot to Mendy.
Chelsea have a must-win clash against AC Milan and have failed to win their first two matches in the Champions League.
The match day one loss to Dinamo Zagreb and a 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg at Stamford Bridge.
