Ayobola Abiola has been appointed as Chams Plc Non-Executive Director.
This was made known via a notice filed with the Exchange and signed by the company’s secretary, Yetunde Emmanuel.
The disclosure tagged “Changes in the Board”, reveals that the company has informed the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) as well as its investors of the recent changes in the corporate governance of the company.
Abiola has had over 25 years of experience as an economist, banker, and finance and tax expert in Investment, Commercial, and Mortgage banking.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of a real estate investment and advisory firm Capstone Development (West Africa) Limited.
He was until recently appointed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Executive Director, Business Development and Treasury Services at Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN)
Ayobola has also served as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, UBA Tanzania for four years and General Manager/Divisional Director, Corporate Banking, UBA.
