On Monday afternoon, veteran singer Charly Boy released a doctored video of Hollywood stars campaigning for Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi.
In the video he shared, Hollywood stars including Tom Cruise, Ice Cube, Will Ferrell, Anne Hathaway, Gerard Butler, Chris Pratt, Terry Crews, 50 Cent, and John Cena held a placard with the Nigerian flag and the inscription; “Yes, it makes sense to vote Peter Obi in 2023.”
Charly Boy, who has been very vocal about his support for Obi, was impressed that the campaign has gone international
“Impressive,” he tweeted.
“Peter Obi's campaign has taken on a global outlook with leading American TV and Hollywood actors driving the campaign.”
Impressive.

The videos he shared are combined videos from ‘Google most asked questions’ involving Hollywood celebrities.
It's unclear whether Charly Boy posted the video on purpose to deceive the public or whether it was just a careless oversight.
However, he has continued to double down even when social media users tried to point out his error.
He claimed that other presidential candidates are involved in propaganda.
