The summer transfer window season is open, and Liverpool began warming up for the defence of their English Premier League (EPL) title and another assault on the UEFA Champions League (UCL) with a comfortable 3-0 win over German side VfB Stuttgart at the Sportplatz Langau last Saturday in Austria, AllNews reports.
The Reds brought an end to their time in Austria on Tuesday with a 2-2 draw versus Red Bull Salzburg. Young player, Rhian Brewster was at the double in the workout.

Although many people agree the British giants have a good squad, they are still looking to strengthen their team. Some players will also certainly leave.
Liverpool square up with Arsenal this Saturday in the Community Shield.
* Thiago Alcantara’s potential move to Liverpool is set to pick up pace in the coming days. Thiago has been pushing the transfer himself, rather than Liverpool coming up with the idea independently.
The Bayern Munich midfielder is intent on moving on this summer despite still having another year to run on his contract.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with his signature and remain the favourites to sign him, though previous reports suggested they were baulking at Thiago's price tag.
* Manchester City options give Liverpool Divock Origi transfer dilemma as Rhian Brewster benefit clear.
Origi is important to Jurgen Klopp as he can play various attacking positions but his sale along with someone like Xherdan Shaqiri or Harry Wilson may free up the funds and wages for a more capable attacking option that brides the gap closer to the front three.
If he leaves, it would be sad because of the great moments he delivered yet he would remain a cult hero and potentially pave the way for another attacker to take his place.
* Liverpool boss Klopp's Brewster transfer hint and Swansea City's loan hopes revealed.
Swansea remain hopeful of seeing Brewster return to the Liberty Stadium for the duration of the 2020/21 season.
They expect to be at the front of the queue should Liverpool decide to send Brewster away from Merseyside once again having given him the platform to shine in the latter half of the 2019/20 campaign.
Clubs including Tottenham, Fulham and Aston Villa have also been credited with showing an interest in the frontman.
* Rickie Lambert hopes Nike’s association with Liverpool helps to bring a “marquee signing” into Anfield but concedes that a dream deal for Kylian Mbappe may be “out of reach”.
The Reds have been linked with an audacious raid on Paris Saint-Germain for a World Cup-winning forward.
Mbappe has aired his admiration for the Premier League champions and Jurgen Klopp in the recent past, with the 21-year-old considered to be dropping hints that a future move to Merseyside could be on the cards.
